I have been coaching through out my playing career. I have recently retired from the Australian National Team and have got myself into coaching within schools. I currently coach at my school Male and Females ages K-12. I'm passionate about sharing the skills I have learnt over my playing career and giving back to the next generation. I see myself as a mentor and can help guide young footballers to help reach their goals and dreams.
My philosophy as a coach is everything that I learnt from my own personal coaches over my playing career. Im a friendly, fun outgoing and enjoyable coach. Personally when I was a player I found that the best I ever played was when I was Happy and learning new things at training. I want to have that as a start in my sessions. Fitness is a big key in my sessions. As this is a key factor for any footballer to be the best.
Playing experience I have been a professional footballer playing for over 10 years. I played for the Matildas for 10 years (61 games and 20 goals) W-League (129 games - 68 goals)
Im and Olympian and played every game at the Summer Olympics in Rio for Team Australia and scoring 2 goals and 1 penalty. I played in the FIF Womens World Cup 2015 In Canada.
Overseas clubs I played in the NWSL for The Western New York Flash and in Europe for Brøndy IF. The experiences and knowledge Ive learnt from a professional can help guide any young player to reach their goals.
My sessions are based on Matildas training sessions. Its an inside to what its like to train as a professional Player.
