Coaching for me is more than mentoring someone to be the best person they can be on the park during a game, but also mentoring them off the field as well. I like to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a player, and then work on building on our weaknesses and polishing off our strengths.
Identifying a player's learning style, and looking to enhance their technical skill off the park and their fitness in the gym.
I started playing soccer at age 7, and played my junior years at both Myrtleford and Albury based clubs. I debuted in the seniors at age 14, playing various levels of Representative soccer before being selected for college soccer in the USA.
I include a warm up and cool down specific to the focus of the session, and the conditioning phase would involve both work with and without the ball.
