About Coach

My training sessions focus on areas that can translate into game day improvements, but are tailored to the players in 1on1 sessions. In small group and team training sessions I focus more on high intensity tactical elements of the game that demand and improve players through opportunities for a large number of repetition

My playing career took my to Malta (7 years), England (2 years) and Scotland (2 years) in the 90's followed by the Victorian & NSW State Leagues in the early 2000's. in 2004 whilst still playing I also started my coaching career in Geelong and worked full-time across several state league clubs, school, futsal and state teams. In 2008 I moved to Fiji to work across their national teams and in 2011 started work as Coaching & Development Manager for the Southern NSW region with Football NSW. Then in 2013 i moved to Victoria again to work as Technical Director with Box Hill United for the NPL and then with Northcote City as TD in 2016 & 2017. In 2018 I moved to East Gippsland and Gippsland TIDC and this year have started work with TIDC in Eastern Melbourne. I have completed part 1 of my A Licence

The average session time is between 45 minutes to 75 minutes for youth players (aged 9-14) and 60-90 minutes for older youth & senior players). Sessions are normally tailored to the players age and ability and specific areas that they want to focus n be they strengths or weaknesses.

There was nothing to fault honestly. James was very patient with my son, I know it's not very easy to keep a 4yo focused for 45mins but he did a very good job. The session itself was very well run with a lots of good drills, little touches mixed with shooting drill and some fun for my son. After training he even had time to go over some tips and drills that we could do together which was very nice of him. He was very accommodating with the time a location, Seb and I look forward to seeing you on a weekly basis. Thanks
