I am a fervent football (soccer) fan and I love the sport. As a coach, I like to get the best out of everyone. Along with this, everyone should enjoy what they do in the training and on the field. My motivation as a coach comes from the game itself and other successful managers in the game who I adore and follow passionately.
My coaching philosophy is simple. I like or prefer athletes who work hard and are ready to give their 100% dedication to the game. As a coach, I will always try to improve my players in the position that they play as well as improve them in their overall game and at the same time work l like to work on their weaknesses. According to me, fitness plays a very important role in such a physically demanding game. Hence, every day the players have to warm-up and exercise for at least 10-15 mins prior to any training or any match and also cool down after the sessions are over. Other health-related training will be as per individual physique. I also prepare tactical analysis as per the team structure and the type of players I have at my disposal. I like to win but the most important factor for me will always be the player's happiness and the enjoyment of the game.
I have been a player since the age of seven and enjoy the game very much. I still love to play the game whenever possible. I started my coaching journey at the community level when a few young players approached me as there was no formal coaching in our city. I started with a small group and gradually it grew to an 11 member team. I used to coach them during the weekends. The group had players as young as 9 to as old as 20. I have trained them for a week and made sure they learned as much as possible during the time I spent coaching. I have also referred local competitions hence I am aware with the latest rules and regulations as well.
I would like a group to book a session of at least 1.5 hours so that I can come to know about the players and in what ways I can improve them. A group can expect to start with a warm-up exercise and then move ahead to training drills. I will assess these sessions and provide feedback and work on their weaknesses. A group or team looking for coaching prior to any competition can also approach me and I will prepare the group accordingly. I expect the players to be properly dressed (Shorts, shoes, etc) and these sessions will surely be fun and a great learning experience for them.
